Performance Milestones

Performance milestones apply equally to Widget and API integrations.

To reach a milestone, all conditions must be met. Milestones are cumulative across the full program period.

Milestone Rewards​

Additional Rewards​

After reaching the final milestone (6,000 transactions), partners earn 30,000 ROUTE for every additional 1,000 eligible transactions during the program period.

Milestone Rules​

Transaction Eligibility​

  • Minimum transaction size: $50
  • Transactions below $50 are not counted
  • Only eligible transactions are counted

Volume Measurement​

  • Volume is measured cumulatively
  • All eligible transactions count toward milestones
  • Volume accumulates throughout the program period

Cumulative Nature​

Milestones are cumulative, meaning:

  • If you reach 1,000 transactions, you earn 100,000 ROUTE
  • If you reach 3,000 transactions, you earn the 350,000 ROUTE milestone (not 350,000 + 100,000)
  • If you reach 6,000 transactions, you earn the 750,000 ROUTE milestone

Milestone Vesting​

Vesting Schedule​

  • Vesting duration: 3 months
  • Unlock: Split equally per month (33.33% per month)

Monthly Unlock Requirements​

To unlock each monthly portion, the following requirements must be met in that month:

  • ✅ Minimum 200 eligible transactions
  • ✅ Minimum monthly volume: $10,000

Important Notes​

  • If monthly requirements are not met:
    • Unlock for that month is skipped
    • Skipped unlocks are not paid later
    • Skipping a month does not block future unlocks

Example Scenarios​

Scenario 1: Reaching First Milestone​

You reach 1,000 transactions on February 15:

  • Milestone reward: 100,000 ROUTE
  • Vesting: 3 months (33,333 ROUTE per month)

Month 1 (Feb 15 - Mar 14):

  • Meet requirements → Unlock 33,333 ROUTE

Month 2 (Mar 15 - Apr 14):

  • Meet requirements → Unlock 33,333 ROUTE

Month 3 (Apr 15 - May 14):

  • Meet requirements → Unlock 33,334 ROUTE

Scenario 2: Missing Monthly Requirements​

You reach 1,000 transactions on February 15, but miss requirements in Month 2:

  • Month 1: Meet requirements → Unlock 33,333 ROUTE ✅
  • Month 2: Miss requirements → Skip unlock ❌
  • Month 3: Meet requirements → Unlock 33,334 ROUTE ✅

Total unlocked: 66,667 ROUTE (Month 2's portion is lost)

Scenario 3: Multiple Milestones​

You reach milestones progressively:

  • Feb 10: 1,000 transactions → 100,000 ROUTE milestone
  • Mar 5: 3,000 transactions → 350,000 ROUTE milestone (replaces previous)
  • Mar 25: 6,000 transactions → 750,000 ROUTE milestone (replaces previous)

Each milestone vests independently over 3 months from when it's reached.

Scenario 4: Post-Milestone Rewards​

After reaching 6,000 transactions, you continue generating transactions:

  • 7,000 transactions: +30,000 ROUTE (for 1,000 additional)
  • 8,000 transactions: +30,000 ROUTE (for 1,000 additional)
  • 9,000 transactions: +30,000 ROUTE (for 1,000 additional)

Each additional 1,000 transactions earns 30,000 ROUTE, which also vests over 3 months.

Monitoring and Verification​

All activity is monitored using:

  • Onchain data - Transaction verification
  • Internal tracking systems - Activity monitoring

Router Protocol reserves the right to exclude any transactions or partners showing:

  • Abnormal activity
  • Self-transfers
  • Artificial looping of funds

Program Period​

Only transactions executed within the program period (January 15 - April 15) are counted toward milestones. However, vesting and monthly requirements continue beyond April 15 for rewards already earned.

  • Milestones are cumulative and apply to both Widget and API integrations
  • Rewards vest over 3 months with equal monthly unlocks
  • Monthly requirements must be met to unlock each month's portion
  • Additional rewards available after final milestone
  • All transactions must meet eligibility criteria ($50 minimum)
